I'm a postpartum doula, newborn care specialist, and breastfeeding support counselor. I absolutely love this field and find it very rewarding to help new moms in this beautiful journey after birth. I am very passionate about helping moms with breastfeeding issues because of my own personal experience with my children. I enjoy making lactation treats for my clients as well, and created Latched & Loaded: Lactation Treats. These delicious, healthy cookies, bars, and more, are custom made to suit my clients' dietary needs, as well as the general nutrition related needs of breastfeeding moms. Supporting breastfeeding is important to me, and I counsel my clients on what to eat/what not to eat, feeding schedules, and  common misconceptions that mothers are often told about breastfeeding and newborn care. I help with pumping schedules, appropriate feeding amounts, formula information, preparation and storage, cleaning and sterilization, and common fears, such as nipple confusion. I also provide a sounding board for new moms to express their feelings about the postpartum period. New moms can get overwhelmed, and sometimes we just need another mom to ensure us we that aren't losing our minds and that the feelings we are experiencing are completely normal.
